This versatile Classroom Calendar Set is Bilingual in English and Hebrew. It offers many options for display and classroom activities, ensuring you get the most out of your investment.
What is Included
- Month labels in Hebrew and English for both the Gregorian calendar and the Jewish Year Calendar
- Two sets of dates—numbers and Hebrew letters (Gematria)
- Birthday labels for student birthdays
- Yearly holiday labels for both calendars (Gregorian and Jewish)
- Editable labels to add additional holidays or school events
How to Use
- I used a large wall calendar from Amazon in my classroom. This version can be written on with dry-erase markers and is clearly visible from anywhere in the room. It also has a separate space for the date tags and lines in each date box for easy writing.
- I use these Velcro dots for the dates, month titles, birthdays, and holiday tags. I put one Velcro dot on the calendar in each small date box and two Velcro dots in each larger date box. I also put one in the top right corner and one in the bottom center of each large date square.
- For the months, Velcro a dot on each of the corners of the label/sign, then add the matching Velcro dot to the large section at the top of the calendar. I ended up putting a column of three dots on both sides of the large section to make sure that the matching dot on the sign/label would match up.
- Thin or thick dry-erase markers in dark colors work best for visibility around the classroom.
